One final post about the Yandell family!

Okay, I actually completed them a few days after the last post about them, I just didn't have the time to post. I haven't gpt the names, But the last child, happened to be child #21!, I was expecting to reach child 20 as a single birth as there were already 7 sims in my house. But no, there had to be twins! This is the first time there has been a glitch in the game that I didn't purposley do!

See what I have done in the next post, moving on from the Yandell family :)

Yandell update, 17 children!

Okay so we were last up to 12, with Mia being the most recent child. Since then Antoniette has had five more children*. Nikky and Oliver, set of twins make up 13 and 14. Pete is number 15 in the family, and Quan and Rhiannon are 16 and 17.

So, this challenge is almost over, and I have no idea what I should do next. Before I started this challenge, I had started to do two other challenges, one was a 50 babies challenge and the other one was a Test Of Time. The test of time neighbourhood was deleted and the 50 babies challenge has not been played since starting the 20 babies challenge. In the 50 babies challenge, they were up to 5 children. since it took me a YEAR to do 20 babies, I doubt I will continue the 50 babies challenge. While I go play the Yandell's for probably one last time, I will think of other challenges that are not too hard and don't need a lot of patience so I will continue it till the end.

*I have a feeling she had another set of twins after Quan and Rhiannon and I have not just added them in my notes. I keep thinking of 'Stella and Travis', so I have a feeling I only have one more child to go. I will keep it as 17 though in this post as I am not completely sure about 18 and 19.

Webpage changes

Okay so I have been playing around with the blog. You may have noticed I have got a new title. I hope it looks alright to you guys, but if you guys don;t like it, let me know. I have been experimating in gimp and making gimp images, that is why the title and the button to my Twitter flashes. I added a link to my twitter account because I was bored and experimating, you do not have to follow me or even click on the link. I don't usually talk about Sims on my twitter, just random other stuff.

On another note, I am planing to make a story from pictures of my sims and put it on here. To those that visit, I would really appreciate if you leave a suggestion. I have been going along the lines of:
1.Gathering up all my photos of the Yandell family and showing their story on here.
2. Doing a Sims Next Top Model.
3. Create a random story I can come up with myself.

Was bored..

Yesturday I played Sims Deluxe Edition. I couldn't be stuffed playing Sims 2 or Sim City 4 so I played Sims1 instead. I made a sim then moved them into a lot. I forgot about how basic this game was. Anyway I made her get a job, in the medicine career as that was the job on offer in the newspaper. Again, I forgot how basic this game was, she desn't get any days off, I forced her not to go to work all the time because I didn't know a cheat to get her mood green. Who remembers Sylvia-Marie and Frankie Mashuga? Yeah well I tried to make my sim friends with them but it is soo hard!

Later today I may go back on the Sims 2 and play my Yandell family. Maybe get another child (or children) born and such. Can't believe in under a human year, my Yandell family grew from four to twelve.

So I wish my computer had internet (the one with the Sims games) so I can download stuff. I have been looking at modthesims.com and there are some really cool stuff on it. I wanted to get all these Harry Potter stuff, like Courses to learn at Uni (You could learn Charms, Care Of Magical Creatures, Arithmacy, Herbology, Defence Against The Dark Arts, Divination, Potions, Transfiguration, Muggle Studies, History Of Magic and Astronomy, Which is basically all of the classes mentioned in the Harry Potter series.)

I have since found websites where I can download stuff from another computer, I havent been able to play the Yandell family due to finding these websites and I might be able to play tomorrow before work, otherwise I might not get to play for a week or two.~

Ok, so I've been on modthesims.info and some of the stuff on there is really cool. But unfortunately I can't download any of it because I have no internet on the computer with my Sims games. Any way, I did find some sites where I can download stuff on another computer and then carry it over to the computer with the sims games on it via USB.

Sims City 4

So I got a new sims game. I decided to get this game after reading my Sims 2 book saying that I could make towns in sims City 4 and then put them into my sims 2 game. I love this game, though I had a hard time getting it.

When i saw it in my local games shop, I brought thinking "Yay I finally got this game." When I got home, I went to install it and I couldn't find the code I needed for it to install completely.

The next day I took it back and got 'Sims City 4 Rush Hour Deluxe', So again went home to install, but this time there was no second disc that I needed. Again, the next day I took it back, got the second disc, and after three days of drama, finally got to install completely!

Okay, it is almost the weekend! Tomorrow (Friday), i will try and play the Yandell and write down all of the childrens names and tell you what number I am up to!

Sims2 Stuff

Okay so I haven't been playing my 'Yandell' family in awhile so I think I am still up to 11. I do remember that They have owned a restaurant, and a funiture shop. If I had my sims book with me ( I am not near my sims 2 computer at all!! far far far away from it!!) I could know exactly how many children because I have recorded all of their names. I think I am up to M in the names... ( I have started from 'C' because the mum and dad start with 'A' and 'B'.) So I think I am up to 12 or 13 children.. maybe still 11 because for twins I believe I used the same letter twice if the children are boy and girl. If the twins are same sex I use two different letters. Going down the alphabet until I reach 'Z' ( though the game is to reach 20 children.)

'Test Of Time'

I originally started this blog because of this Challenge I came across on the Sims 2 website. It was called 'A Test of Time'. The challenge was to go through different era stages to get to modern civilisation.

The Era's are as follows:
-Neanderthal Stage (3 generations)
-Roman Stage (4 generations)
-Dark Ages (3 Generations)
-Medievel & Renaissance (4 Generations)
-Exploration & Colonization (3 Generations)
-Victorian Stage (3 Generations)
-MODERN AGE!!! (The End)
You must go through 20 Generations in total! The first 20Gen kid means you have finished the game!
There are quite a bit of rules to read, but if you are a true simmer, you will have fun!

20 Babies Challenge! -The Yandell Family

The 20 Babies challenge can be founded on the Sims 2 website. There is also 50 Babies challenge(another challenge that i am also doing).

So far I am up to four children! only 16 more to go!!
 Parents: Antoniette and Bradley
First child: Caitlin
Second child: Daniel
TWINS! 3&4: Emma and Ethan
(I did not use a cheat to make twins. They were made naturally (WOOHOO!).)

I will continue this challenge to the end. I will hopefully keep blogging regually. Maybe once a week? maybe more!
